Chris has 40 years of business experience in leadership positions in audit, financial management, and information systems. He has worked in a broad range of industries including public accounting, hospitality and gaming, manufacturing, software, public relations/advertising, state government and professional associations. His roles have included vice president/chief financial officer, intern​al audit director, information systems director, information systems audit, reengineering team leader, and corporate/division controller.

Chris McKittrick is currently an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Accounting in the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University. As a full-time and adjunct lecturer since 2010, he has taught over 10,000 students in undergraduate and graduate classes including financial and managerial accounting, planning and budgeting, fraud and internal controls.

Chris formerly served as director of Members in Business, Industry, and Government for the AICPA. He obtained both his BS and MBA from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, and is a CPA/CGMA. He was a CFE from 2009 through 2018.
