Margaret HeffernanDr. Margaret Heffernan advises CEOs and senior executives of major organizations and is Lead Faculty for the Forward Institute’s Responsible Leadership Program.

Drawing on her extensive experience in having run 5 different businesses in the U.S. and U.K, she writes and speaks about business leadership, management, innovation, and all the things that really matter in work. She has been named one of the “Top 25” by Streaming Media magazine and one of the “Top 100 Media Executives” by The Hollywood Reporter for her leadership as Chief Executive at InfoMation Corporation, ZineZone Corporation and then iCast Corporation. She also  previously spearheaded multimedia productions in the U.S. for Intuit, The Learning Company, and Standard & Poors as well as produced programs for the BBC for 13 years.

She is a regular writes for and The Huffington Post and her third book, Willful Blindness: Why We Ignore the Obvious at our Peril was a finalist for the Financial Times Best Business Book Award in 2011 as well as named one of the most important business books of the last 10 years.

Margaret is also an internationally recognized speaker. Her TED talks have been seen by over three million people and in 2015 TED commissioned and published Beyond Measure: The Big Impact of Small Changes.
